Franziska Barczyk is a German-Hungarian visual artist and illustrator in Toronto. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, she is known for her bold colors, geometric shapes, and figurative collages influenced by surrealism, Dadaism, dance, music, and everyday visual irony. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Globe and Mail.
Franziska has collaborated with UNESCO, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
She also creates personal work addressing social issues, showcasing her art in solo exhibitions through painting, collage, and other mediums.
